LINDSEY OPTICS Brilliant 2 Rota-Pol 4×5.65″ Rotating Polarizer comes in a frame to mount directly inside a mattebox stage. Offers 1.5 stops of light reduction – 50% transmission. Covers lenses up to 138mm.

The toothed rings can be maneuvered manually or by means of a motor with a 1/4-20 tooth thread.

They are built with two internal components, a linear polarizer that will reduce reflections when rotated, and a “quarter wave plate” that rotates the light entering the camera lens, preventing any cross-polarization within the camera and lens system.

Lindsey Optics Brilliant-Pol Polarizing Filters are made from Schott B270 “water white” optical glass and have a broadband multi-layer anti-reflective coating that dramatically reduces flare, stray light, and ghosting caused by filter-to-filter reflection. Contrast and color saturation are increased. They are ground and polished to be very flat and cause no distortion or focus shift, even with long focal length lenses.

They are extremely efficient at reducing reflections on glass, water and other reflective objects. They also saturate blue skies and increase color saturation in landscapes by reducing microreflections in the scene.
